Two astrological languages

Why a Vedic dasha and a Western Chiron placement answer different questions.

This note begins with a distinction. A chart can hold several kinds of information, but each system has its own grammar. Good reading does not flatten those differences to make a smoother story.

Start with the question

When a symbol feels personal, pause before making it predictive. Ask what the symbol is describing, what it is not describing, and what kind of practice would let you observe it with less fear.

Keep the systems named

Foundations uses Vedic astrology to discuss grahas, houses, nakshatras, and dasha timing. Bodies uses Western astrology to discuss Chiron, asteroids, and outer planets. They can sit on the same page only when their voices remain clear.
